Technical Assistant
Adam is an Urban Planner currently with the Detroit Housing and Revitalization Department focusing on housing policy. Prior to working with the City of Detroit, Adam worked for the Quicken Loans Community Fund to invest philanthropic funds into single family housing rehab and tax foreclosure prevention. As a small-scale developer, Adam focuses on Detroit duplex rental properties (aka house hacks), single family fix and flips, and land contracts.
Adam has participated in Better Buildings Better Blocks since its initial Detroit program launch. As a Teaching Assistant, Adam helps students build out their investment presentations and provides advise from his perspective as a City Employee and small-scale developer.
Adam has a Master’s of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan Taubman School of Architecture and Urban Planning and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from Michigan State University.
